<p>This Accelerating Infrastructure Development: Selected Case Studies in Indonesia book is the second book in a two-part series about Indonesia&#8217;s National Strategic Projects program (PSN &#8211; Proyek Strategis Nasional) and is meant to be a companion to the first book in the series, namely Infrastructure for Inclusive Economic Development: Indonesia. While the first book covers the theoretical framework and the reasonings behind Indonesia's strategy to achieve inclusive development with a groundbreaking plan named PSN, this book shows how that plan was implemented by showcasing selected projects across Indonesia as case studies.<br />The selected projects in this book were chosen to represent three clusters that intuitively guide the readers on how certain infrastructure delivers impact for Indonesian society. Those clusters are (1) Economic connectivity cluster, (2) Economic non-connectivity cluster and (3) Social cluster. As a prelude and to ease the readers into the third chapter which contains showcases of PSN as its subchapters, the first two chapters are dedicated to introducing and explaining the current development of PSN in Indonesia. In addition, the selection of the projects was also meant to show the execution of President Joko Widodo&#8217;s vision of Nawacita, especially the idea of developing the country from the periphery.</p>
